VIZIO Announces Partnership with American Marathoner Ryan Hall
Irvine, CA — November 2011 — Ryan Hall, Americas premier men’s marathoner, and VIZIO, Americas #1 LCD HDTV company, announced their partnership in the VIZIO “Entertainment Freedom for All” campaign.

VIZIO features Ryan on packaging and digital media along with a line-up of additional celebrity ambassadors.
Having unveiled their brand promise of “Entertainment Freedom for All”, the consumer electronics company has aligned itself with causes and individuals that embody their innovative and fearless mission to deliver top quality entertainment to all consumers at unmatched prices.

Ryan Hall won the marathon at the 2008 United States Olympic Trials and represented the U.S. at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Ryan became the fastest American ever over the marathon distance in the 2011 Boston Marathon running 2:04:58. Ryan and his wife Sara founded the Hall Steps Foundation (http://TheStepsFoundation.org) which aims to empower the running community to tackle structural causes of poverty including the need for clean water, shelter and physical security.
Ryan is hoping that the increased exposure and publicity in working with VIZIO will also enhance the visibility of his foundation. “I am at my best when I am running free. Free from expectations and fears. Running full of faith, holding nothing back – VIZIO delivers on performance the same way,” said Ryan.

The launch of the “Entertainment Freedom for All” campaign will coincide with Ryan’s quest for Olympic success. Ryan will compete in the U.S. Olympic marathon trials in Houston on January 14th where he hopes to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
