Bolt has now run two 100 meter races and one 200 meter race. His national championships are approaching, and we shall see how he and his fellow Jamaicans fare in that very challenging event.
Long time before we reach Daegu, Korea (78 days). Let’s see how Bolt and Gay look over the next several weeks.
BOLT
RULES IN HIS EVENT (19.86)

is always a nightmare for an
organizer to have bad weather, that happened at EXXON Mobil Bislett
Games, but
still spectators (14 800 sell out) celebrated a great evening of
athletics and
athletes produced some remarkable performances. It was raining at the
beginning
of the whole programme, it stopped for first part of the main programme
and
returned heavily for the most expected event, the 200 m with Usain Bolt.
The
sold out stadium registered three world leading marks (200 m, steeple,
800 m women), two stadium
records (men steeple and women shot put) and also two national records
(Saudi Arabia in the mile and Jamaica in the 110 m hurdles).
Interestingly
there is no one athlete in the Diamond events from Oslo who can register
three wins.
