Endurance:
â— Dan Aldridge: Successful Nor-Cal coach who coached Julia Stamps and Jenny Aldridge and is a sub-4:00 miler himself.
â— Bob Sevene: Renowned US distance coach. Coach of Joan Benoit Samuelson, and currently Blake Russell.
â— Kelly Sullivan: Oregon State coach and elite development endurance coach.
â— Chuck Woodridge: Successful cross coach at the North Coast section powerhouse Campolindo High School.

â— Kent Pagel: Successful NCAA and JC coach, in addition to coaching on six NCAA Champ. teams at LSU.
â— Ramona Pagel: Three time Olympian and US Women’s shot put record holder; now Women’s Development Shot Chair.
â— John Powell: 1976 and 1984 Olympic discus medalist.
Jumps:
â— Dr. Don Chu: Olympic jumps coach and prolific author on plyometrics and sports conditioning.
â— Charlie Craig: Former CS Bakersfield coach known for jumps, and has served on multiple US international staffs.
â— Jan Johnson: 1972 Men’s vault Olympic bronze medalist and leading vault guru.
â— Rob Dewar: Head men’s track and field coach at Sacramento City College. State JC Champions in 2007.

Larry Eder has had a 52-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has published several magazines on athletics, from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: "I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself."
