A week after smashing the Holmdel Park course record at the Group 3
Championships(she ran 17:28), senior Megan Venables returned to win the
Meet of Champions title in 17:46.
Venables was 16th at last year’s Foot Locker Northeast Regional, bt should do much better this year.
With his brother Joe(last year’s winner) sidelined by an injury, Jim Rosa kept the MOC title in the family, winning in 15:15.
Like he and his West Windsor Plainsboro North teammates did last year,
Rosa will skip Foot Locker to run in the Nike Nationals series.
