The PUMA Mile Invitational 2010 is almost here! April 9, 2010 is the deadline to enter, so, do not miss it, if you have run 4:05 or under for the guys and 4:48 for the mile for the women! If this video does not get you inspired, then you need to go to Peets coffee and a) buy a pound of the house blend, b) rub it all over your body. We have added the contract below, right after the http://www.Flotrack.org video!
The beauty of the PUMA Mile is that it does give young athletes on the cusp a chance to continue racing. Last year’s winner competed for Great Britain the World Indoor Champs in Doha at 1,500 meters! A great idea, and they guys at Flotrack keep it alive!
What I like most about this promotion is that, once again, creativity wins out over a huge budget. PUMA is putting $3,000 worth of footwear and apparel, 10,000 greenbacks, some promotions in magazines, and a live show on Flotrack.org! A nice promotion, that ties into the spirit of our sport!
Remember, to run the PUMA Mile, you must have your application emailed to pumamile@puma.com no later than Friday, April 9, 2010! Race will be shown on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 7:45 PST on Flotrack.org.
