Aspire Stadium, Doha, Qatar, Friday, March 12, 2010, photo by RBR.
It is now 10 AM on Friday, March 12, local time, in Doha, Qatar. The 8,000 seat Aspire Indoor Stadium is a superb facility, one of the best I have seen anywhere in the world. One footwear marketer just told me, “If we had this in the U.S., it could house major events!”
I have attached a photo of the stadium from my seat, BB8, just above the finish line! We are covering each round on twitter and will provide synopsis of sessions each day! If you have quesitons, just twitter me at twitter.com/runblogrun or email me at runblogrun@gmail.com!
I am off to find the perfect double espresso! I will check in soon!
For more on the sport, may we suggest that you check www.runningnetwork.com!
