Allyson Felix is a phenomenon. The problem is, for Allyson, she has delivered so long, as a top California high schooler, then as a pro instead of running at university, that, some times, her talent is taken for granted. World champion over 200 meters three times, silver medalist, in the Olympics, her best days are yet to come. Versatile, from 100 meters to 400 meters, her best event may prove to be the 400 meters. Actually, her best event might prove to be the 400 meter intermediate hurdles (if you want to see a big smile on Coach Bobby Kersee’s face, ask him about that one!). Allyson has run in Albuquerque already this season, posting a very nice 52 second 400 meters!
