One of the best kept secrets in midwest running is the Go! St. Louis marathon & Fitness Weekend. The marathon, half marathon & 5k have been sold out for weeks. Last week, I spoke to Race Director/FounderNancy Lieberman about her
predicament. I could tell Nancy was thinking about options, ” We have reached a limit on our race fields and course. I have several dozen requests from just board members! It is crazy!” A few days later, Nancy, one of the most energetic, but also creative race directors in our sport, figured out where to change the course to allow 2,500 more in the half marathon. If you have not run this race, check it out! For more on the story, please click on http://www.morunandtri.com/read_new/go-st-louis%C2%AE-opens-2500-additional-half-marathon-spots
