This is an example of how we in the running industry can work together, use new media, and have some fun with our sport: PUMA Fast Forward. The contest is open to all runners, and for sending in a 30-60 second video, participants get a limited edition Usain Bolt poster. The winner of the contest gets to have the PUMA speed test sent to their fave school, club or team! We hope you take part! This should be fun!
PUMA and The Running Network Introduce: PUMA Fast Forward
Sportlifestyle brand, PUMA®, has issued the challenge: What would you change if you could put your life, your homework, your job, your travel into Fast Forward! In association with the Running Network (www.runningnetwork.com), PUMA is challenging you to make a 30-60 second video, upload it at the PUMA microsite, and show us what you would do if you could Fast Forward your life! Just for doing the video, you get a limited edition Usain Bolt poster!
PUMA will evaluate all the videos based on creativity, innovation and use of Fast Forward speed. If your video is chosen, then your team, your school, your club will be visited by the PUMA Speed Trap, which will be featured on the websites of the Running Network and their publications! The PUMA Speed Trap is a unique running activity that makes running fun for everyone. Inspired by the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, who had no idea he was so fast while growing up in Jamaica as an athlete. With the PUMA Speed Trap, you can see how truly fast you really are because it clocks a runner’s MPH at a 100m distance. It’s not just about who is the fastest, but also allows for some friendly competition. Maybe you can be the next top sprinter in your team, club or school and the PUMA Speed Trap can help you discover your skills. Check out how PUMA put the fun back into running with a Speed Trap video on http://www.runningnetwork.com/FastForward.
PUMA’s partnership with The Running Network reinforces the brand’s unique approach to running – fusing the influences of sports and lifestyle.
“For me, the fun part of the site is seeing the new videos of Usain Bolt, teenagers running the PUMA street meet, and the fun some team or club will have with the PUMA Speed Trap!” noted Larry Eder, Running Network President.
So, enter as many times as you can, check out the PUMA Fast Forward site for new videos, new info on PUMA’s new running line, and keep track of the fastest man on earth! Don’t forget to check out the info on PUMA’s hot new running line!
PUMA and the Running Network LLC are proud to present the PUMA Fast Forward contest! So get your video camera (or your phone), make a video and show the running community how you would Fast Forward the world, or perhaps, at the very least, your kid brother for an hour.
