Chambers 6.51 in semis
SHEFFIELD (GBR, Feb 14): Dwain Chambers showed an impressive shape in semifinals of Aviva European Trials and UK Championships when he equalled the world lead and posted new european lead 6.51 at 60 m. It is also his new PB, in heats he was also the fastest with 6.53. Another favorite Craig Pickering was after heats in 6.66 disqualified in semifinals. Later today also the finals will be held.

Chambers again 6.51
SHEFFIELD (GBR): Dwain Chambers clocked after semifinals another 6.51 european leading time, his PB while winning the 60 m at UK Trials. He qualified so for European Indoor Championships in Torino. In Italy he will be one of the headliner of the event. Tyrone Edgar was second (6.64) and Simeon Williamson third (6.66). Chris Tomlinson won the Long Jump (772) and Gemma Bennett clocked good quality PB 8.06 to win the 60 m Hurdles ahead of multi-events star Kelly Sotherton (8.30).

Valencia (esp): Spanish Nuria Fernández clocked world leading 1500 m 4:01.77 at valencia iaaf indoor permit meet. She improved substantially the 4:07.72 of Russian Yevdokimova from January.
