Michigan Runner was one of the first regional running magazines in the U.S. Along with New England Runner, RunOhio and Running Journal, among others, Michigan Runner blazed a trail in the regional running business that should be addressed and respected.
One of the trails that Jenn and Art McCafferty have blazed is the area of web based television shows….
Doing something new is always a challenge. Jenn and Art McCafferty started Michigan Runner TV several years ago. If you go to their website, you can find the years of archives. Their format is simple-focused, seven minute programs on various topics, with intereviews and race coverage being the most popular.
They did a wonderful intereview of Ryan Shay, which has had 2,200 downloads on You Tube this week,
Jenn has a very relaxed way of interviewing, and the athletes come alive. The production is strong and the fans have built up over several years for Michigan Runner TV.
I have also added, thanks to Jenn’s suggestion, links to their coverage of the Olympic
