WR holder Harrison gets 7.75
LEXINGTON: World record holder Kendra Harrison opened very fast at Rod McCravy Invitational. First in heats 7.85 and in finals another World lead 7.75 what is also her PB. She is so 9th (in a tie) best ever performer and fastest since 2012. Behind her PB´s for Jamaican 400 m hurdler Leah Nugent 7.96 (also 52.69 at 400 m) and Bahamian Pedra Seymour 7.98. Shakima Wimbley clocked another high quality WL in the women 400 m 51.28 over Kendall Ellis 51.52. Javianne Oliver won the 60 m in 7.18 PB over Teahna Daniels 7.21, on the men side junior Maxwell Willis 6.65. Fast 800 m by Isiah Harris 1:46.65. Kianna Gray posted World leading 23.17 in the 200 m with 400 m hurdler Kori Carter winning her heat in 23.63. Norway´s Amalie Iuel posted national all-time best in rare 600 yards 1:19.56. Raven Saunders won the shot 18.71 and fast 4×400 m times by USC 3:31.73 ahead of Baylor 3:32.09 and Miami 3:33.43. Junior Aaliyah Miller won the women 800 m in 2:03.43 PB.
