ROUBAIX (FRA, Feb 15): Ersu Sasma from Turkiye confirmed the best shape of his life with another 590 clearance after Lievin. Az Perche en Or Lille Metropole (WIT Bronze), he equaled his national record and tried three times at six meters. Chinese Li Chenyang was second with 582, and third, the new Latvian record for Valters Kreiss, 582. Best French Mathieu Collet in fourth with 572. Four more jumpers went over 572. In a three-way tie for fifth legendary Renaud Lavillenie, Chris Nielsen, Anthony Ammirati, and 8th Jacob Wooten 572. The French win came in the women’s category as Marie-Julie Bonnin improved to 471 overall PB. In a tie for second, Norway´s Friele Kitty Faye (PB) and Elina Lampela from Finland 455.
