Larry’s Deep Thoughts:
The season is getting hot. This is week 4 for most of the 1.1 million high school track and field athletes. The relay and dual meets have begun in most states (some still have snow).
As your body gets fit and you look forward to races in the coming season, please monitor your fitness, soreness, sleep, and nutrition. Drink 8-12 glasses of water daily; I suggest a couple glasses of hydration drinks, all food groups, some stretching and control caffeine, and carbonated beverages.
Follow the workouts day by day, and stay focused on the goals, big races in April and May.
