8 x 300-meter hill, jog down,
15 minutes of running, easy to moderate,
8 x 250-meter hill, jog down,
15 minutes of running, easy to moderate
8 x200-meter hill, jog down,
15 minutes running, moderate to easy,
Cooldown well,
hydrate,
get out of wet clothes,
recover,
Larry’s Deep Thoughts: Hills should be one of your best weapons in your training arsenal. 1972 and 1976 Olympic gold double medalist Lasse Viren used 800m hill repeats to build his strength and speed, and then, to fine-tune, his coach Rolf Hakkola used a series of jog, sprint, jog, sprints around a soccer pitch, for 5,000 meters! There are many ways to reach success!
