Femke Bol woke up the world on Sunday with the fifth World record of the weekend with her exciting 400-meter run in 49.24. In the second place, teammate Lieke Klaver ran a 50.10 PB.
Femke Bol will be competing at the World Indoors in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 1-3, 2024, in what is shaping up to be a stunning indoor championship.

APELDOORN (NED, Feb 18): As last year, top star Femke Bol improved her own short track World record by 0.02 with 49.24. Confirmation of how good the track is for European Indoors 2025. Second Lieke Klaver 50.10 short track PB and 9th best ever short track. Glasgow standards for Job Geerds are 7.57 PB, and Maayke Tijn A-Lim is 7.98 PB in hurdles. Tony Van Diepen, 46.30, won the men’s 400 m, and Marije van Hunenstijn, 23.10, in the 200 m. Also fast 1500 m, Robin van Riel 3:39.51 ahead of Noah Baltus 3:39.69 and Jacob Ijtsma 3:39.95. “I never get used to it, especially with all these people cheering on home soil,” Bol said in her trackside interview. “It’s a dream come true to run another world record, and it’s wonderful to have all these Dutch fans enjoying the most beautiful sport in the world.” The world 400m hurdles champion will now head to the World Athletics Indoor Championships Glasgow 24 on the hunt for her first world indoor title.
