This is Friday, January 12, 2024.
It is a tough weather day across the country.
If you have an indoor track, a gym floor (please get permission and run on outside), stairs, or cleared sidewalks trails, dress warmly and
get in the following suggestions;
- On Indoor track. Run 3-5 miles. Warm up for a mile, run 3 miles at a moderate pace, and cool down with a mile.
- Cleared sidewalks, keep pace moderately, do not know people over, 45-50 minutes,
- On cleared roads and trails, watch the footing and run cautiously for 30-40 minutes; watch for any exposed body parts, and watch your feet!
- Stay safe!
Larry’s Deep thought on bad weather day training, winter: Dress in layers, get shoes with nubs (Brooks Cascadia, VJ Ace Star, a studded shoe), and remember afterwards, to hydrate!
