5. The season is truly heating up.

6. Rai Benjamin noted on social media that he had not worked out in 8 weeks. And the guy runs 46.62 for the 400m hurdles! Amazing!

7. Athing Mu focuses on the women’s 800m after a strong 1,500m PB and finishes at the USATF Outdoors. Sinclaire Johnson will make the team now.

8. Sydney McLaughlin will run the 400m flat in Budapest, with no defense of the 400m hurdles, per a story in LA Times with Bobby Kersee.
