Sundays are about the long runs.
We posted a couple photos of Des Linden. Des Linden is a two-time Olympian, 2018 Boston Marathon champion and one of America’s most enduring elite marathoners. She swears by her long runs.
The two hours spent on the roads, in good weather and bad, gave me strength for many years. The runs with my teammates meant a lot when I was in college. When Adam was young, I had a baby jogger and would take Adam in it until he was just over 4. I would run in Portola Valley with my athletes at the Foothill Track team and enjoyed the quiet time with Adam.
For your workout, today, warm up slowly, 75-90 minutes, easy cooldown.
