This is Tuesday, July 19, 2022, day two of week 3 of our 2022 RunBlogRun Summer Cross Country Mileage Program. Give us eight weeks, and we will get you prepared for the fall cross country season.
Today we write about Laura Muir. Laura just took a bronze medal in the women’s 1,500 meters at the World Champs in Eugene, Oregon. She missed medals in London 2017 and Doha 2019 and won the Olympic silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (held in 2021). The pace was out real fast, and Laura had to make a tough decision. She held on to the fast pace and won her bronze.
