Triple Jumper Olha Saladuha has opened her season with a fine 14.61meter jump in Eaubonne, France. Euro Indoor bronze medalist, Anzhelika Sidorova has cleared 4.71m, on her first attempt, and putting her in the top five indoors this season.
SALADUHA STARTS WITH 14.60, SIDOROVA 471
EAUBONNE (FRA, Feb 11): The third women only International meet in Eaubonne saw Ukrainian World and Olympic medalist Olha Saladuha opening her indoor season with good 14.60 what is second best mark this year in the World. In her series also 14.54 and 14.52 showing good shape. European indoor bronze medalist from last year Anzhelika Sidorova of Russia went over 471 in first attempt, her new PB in the pole vault. Second Swiss Nicole Buchler with 456 equaled her national indoor record, third Marion Fiack 451. St. Lucia´s Levern Spencer won the high jump with 190. Gabon´s record holder Ruddy Zang-Milama opened the season with solid 7.26 in the 60 m ahead of European Junior champion Stella Akakpo 7.34, new PB. Third European long jump champion Eloyse Lesueur with 7.35. Fast 3000 m won by Ethiopian junior Senbera Teferi 8:57.93 ahead of Haftamnesh Tesfay 9:00.47 and Ukrainian Svitlana Shmidt 9:01.30. In close hurdles Alice Decaux in 8.14 beat Aiseta Diawara also 8.14. Swiss Lea Sprunger won the 200 m (23.74) and Joanna Jozwik of Poland the 800 m (2:05.66).
