Dai Greene teams up with Mission Sports Management

Dai Greene, the 2010 European Champ who surprised all in 2011 at the World Champs, has moved to Mission Sports Management, as the release notes below. Dai Greene is quite popular in the UK, and a very tough 400 meter hurdler.

Dai Greene also understands that interviews are part of the elite athlete’s job, and he does a masterful job at that. We wish him great health and hope he gets that British record he is so darn close to (two hundredths, we believe)!

Commonwealth hurdles champion Dai Greene teams up with Mission Sports Management

REIGNING Commonwealth 400m hurdles champion Dai Greene is the latest star to join the Mission Sports Management roster.

Greene, who took gold at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, teams up with Mission Sports at the start of what is a thoroughly exciting year as he attempts to retain the Commonwealth title he won in Delhi four years ago at the 2014 Games in Glasgow this summer.

The Welsh track star is no stranger to silverware, having burst onto the scene back into 2009 with a relay silver at the World Championships in Berlin, before taking individual gold at the European Championships in Barcelona the following summer.

His personal best of 47.84secs in the 400m hurdles is the second fastest time ever by a Brit – just two hundredths of a second off Kris Akabusi’s British Record – and the 27-year-old is looking forward to further success on and off the track as a Mission Sports athlete.

Greene said: “I’m absolutely delighted to team up with Mission Sports Management and I’m really excited about working together moving forward.

“This year is an absolutely massive one for me, what with the Commonwealth Games and European Championships just around the corner, and I’m supremely confident Mission Sports are the perfect partner for me to help me achieve all my goals for the season and beyond.

“I’ve still got to so much to achieve in athletics and with Mission’s support, I’m confident I can be successful on the track for many years to come.”
