KENENISA FOR PARIS DEBUT
PARIS (FRA): L´Équipe informs that legendary Kenenisa Bekele will debut in marathon in Paris on April 6. His agent Jos Hermens says that Paris is perfect place for a debut and reminds of world record holder Wilson Kipsang debut which was also in Paris (2:07:13 as 3rd in 2010). The goals will be to win and try to improve the course record 2:05:12 by Stanley Biwott in 2012. Preparation in Addis Ababa goes well, says Hermens. „It will be a crucial test for the rest of his career. If succesfull that would mean his conversion to marathon towards Rio 2016,” he added.
