Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce: After being only last in the London 100 m final she said: „
It was an ok race, wasn’t the best. I came eight. But as an athlete you have to take
precautionary measures and hope things get better because the Olympics are pretty much
on us. I’m working on some things at the moment.” She is in the start list of Herculis meet of Monaco on Friday.

Liu Xiang: His back injury which forced him out of London final on Friday. His coach Sun
Haiping said for agencies, he will be ok for the Games. „It’s just a slight problem.
Liu Xiang felt a little uncomfortable in his back after the heat round. We decided to
pull out of the finals just for the sake of caution,” Sun said. To avoid the wet
and cold English weather, Liu and his team is reportedly to have left England for
training. But Sun declined to reveal where they will be going.
Tiffany Porter: The world indoor silver medallist slowed to a jog midway through her
race at Aviva Grand Prix and, after crossing the finish line. Reports Daily Telegraph.
The problem was revealed to be a nagging back injury and the pain had been so intense
that she could not finish the race. Porter, who was helped around the track by her
husband, American hurdler Jeff Porter, was taken straight to the medical room. But
fortunately all is ok, she is confident she will be ready for the Games and doing
well since Saturday.
Matthias de Zordo: Javelin world champion Matthias de Zordo is ok for the
Olympic Games. His elbow injury is now ok and he can be optimistic for London.
“I still have about 3 weeks until my competition and that is good for me and
so I would be able to be in good shape.”

this fitness is pole vault world champion Pawel Wojciechowski. He injured himself
in Oslo at Bislett Games and will compete on Saturday at Kusocinski Memorial
in Szczecin.
