Golden Spike Meeting (IAAF World Challenge, May 25) for the fourth time. He won
here in 2009 and 2010 and was second in 2008. But for first time he will run at
the Czech meet as world record holder and world champion. It will be his third
800 m of the year after Melbourne and Doha. „Ostrava has always been one of my
favourite meets. I’ve won and lost there and always had good competition. I was

compete only in 2012 and 2013 and then retire. Speaking in an interview with
Laureus.com in Monaco, where she lives and trains, Isinbayeva said: “In London,
my main competitors will be myself, because I know how high I can
jump and I know that height is almost impossible for my rivals. I am
not worrying about the Olympics. I am confident because I know that
right now everything is fine in my life.” Her current outdoors world record is
5.06 meters, so how high can she go to win the gold medal? She said: “My coach

bid for a fifth win in next month’s Bupa Great Manchester Run. As he said
right after Vienna City Half Marathon he acknowledges Manchester’s 10
kilometers course one of the fastest in the world. „That was a good
victory for me and considering I was running on my own for virtually the
whole race my time was good,” said Gebrselassie who passed Radcliffe after 15.3
kilometers and finished in a time of 60 minutes 52 seconds. The Bupa Great
Manchester Run which will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary after being first
staged in 2003 as a legacy to the City’s magnificent hosting of the
previous year’s Commonwealth Games, has accepted a record 40,000 entries

(BEL) : Belgian national team member Kevin Rans had ended his career as a pole
vaulter. Rans managed to reach the final of the 2005 and 2009 IAAF world
championships and is national record holder with a jump of 570 (indoor and
outdoor). Rans had tested positive for cortisone at the Turin European indoor
championships but later managed to proof his innocence. Rans told Belgian media
he has never been able to recover from the false doping accusation and is now
officially ending his athletics career.

that combines both a pole vault pit with a long jump area. The
concept is based on the Austrian popular street meeting ‘Golden roof challenge’
