ISINBAYEVA
AND LAVILLENIE WORLD LEADS 485 AND 593

DONETSK (UKR, Feb 12): Yelena Isinbayeva won
for 8th time the special pole vault meeting in the city of legendary Sergey
Bubka. She improved with 485 her own world lead at 22nd Samsung Pole Vault
Stars meet (EA Indoor Permit) and attacked finally world indoor record of 501.
“I was feeling excellent today and the conditions were as every year very good.
Physically and emotionally I am ready to set new world records, but I still do
not have enough competition practice,” said the multiple world record holder.
Isinbayeva started at 460 in
first and continued with 475
in second after missing once at 470. New world lead of
485 was mastered in second attempt. Her next meeting will be in Stockholm on February 22.
2009 World champion Anna Rogowska of Poland was second (470). Third
