Over the past weekend, road races, indoor track meets, and marathons happened around the world. We wrote about American records in the pole vault, 10,000m, and WL at marathon, and 10,000m. On Monday night, March 7, 2022, Mondo Duplantis set a new world in the pole vault.
What do we learn from the elite? That nothing comes easy, at any level. Mondo Duplantis told the media that he had tried to clear 6.19m (20 feet, 3 inches) at least 50 times before he cleared it for the world record.
