McNeal to miss 100 m Hurdles
LAUSANNE (SUI): Olympic 100m hurdles champion Brianna McNeal has been ruled out of the Tokyo Olympic after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upheld her five-year suspension, informs insidethegames.biz. McNeal was sanctioned in April by the World Athletics Disciplinary Tribunal after “tampering within the results management process”. However, Rollins was allowed to compete at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene while her appeal to the CAS was being considered. McNeal’s sanction means Gabbi Cunningham, who finished fourth at the US Olympic Trials, takes McNeal’s place on the team for Tokyo.
