Torun, Poland, home for Copernicus Cup, photos by LOC
The Copernicus Cup is an exciting meet. When I went in 2019, the LOC had enlisted local Polish athletes plus global stars to
entertain the crowd.
The crowd was loud, not as loud as 2020 with Mondo Duplantis, but loud none the less! Should be a super
event in 2021! Can’t wait to go back, sad that I am missing the 2021 Euro Indoor Champs, which I dearly love.

TORUN (POL): Copernicus Cup on Wednesday in the site of European Indoors will be for some events the final stop of WA World Indoor Tour scoring events. Also great test before European indoors. Another home star Adam Kszczot is running against Collins Kipruto, Andreas Kramer and Alvaro de Arriba in the 800 m. In shot put Michal Haratyk and Konrad Bukowiecki against Tomas Stanek and Leonardo Fabbri with David Storl. World champion Grant Holloway will run the 60 m hurdles, but said: “I don’t chase records, it’s the records that come to you,” he said.
