In 2020, Karsten Warholm has been one of the exceptional athletes in athletics. His almost flawless hurdling was something to behold. His amazing endurance and speed entertained athletics fans all season long! In fact, Karsten’s achievements were done in spikes that have not been challenged by media, or World Athletics. Karsten Warholm had a near perfect season. And now, he wants to attempt the 800m! Could be cool!
STOCKHOLM (SWE): After missing the world 400m hurdles record this year by just 0.09 seconds, world champion Karsten Warholm says it’s not a given that he will break Kevin Young’s mark next season. He told Sport1de: “Because I’ve come so close to the world record, I can understand why you think it’s possible. Nonetheless, it remains difficult to break the record. And yet there are potentially three or four athletes who could be able to break that record – if you look back at the 2019 level.”
Best 400h average ever. Nice season. Who wants a world record anyway?🤷â€â™‚ï¸ Imagine all that fame… Now I have time to train😉 pic.twitter.com/JAThUPlw7T
