PRETORIA (RSA): Olympic javelin silver medallist Sunette Viljoen has turned to an online funding page (backabuddy.co.za) to help support her training for Tokyo 2020. She said in a YouTube video: “I’m busy getting ready for next year’s Olympics in Tokyo‚ but I don’t have any financial support. I don’t have an Olympic contract‚ I don’t have financial support from Athletics South Africa and I don’t have support from Nike.” Via heraldlive.co.za.
