GOTHENBURG (SWE): Angelica Bengtsson, Holly Bradshaw, Michaela Meijer, Lisa Ryzih highlight a strong women’s pole vault field at the Folksam Grand Prix in Gothenburg on 29 August. Sweden’s European indoor long jump silver medallist Thobias Montler is looking to break the stadium record of 8.18m and the women’s long jump is similarly strong with Brits Shara Procter and Jazmin Sawyers and Swedes Khaddi Sagnia, Tilde Johansson and Erica Jarder all confirmed. US training partners Shannon Rowbury and Raevyn Rogers and Lovisa Lindh are in action in the women’s 800m with Andreas Kramer, Joseph Deng, Guy Learmonth and Craig Engels lining up in the men’s 800m. Elsewhere, European U20 200m champion Amy Hunt will line up over 100m and in-form Melissa Courtney-Bryant takes on Australia’s Jessica Hull in the women’s 1500m. Australia’s Stewart McSweyn and Swiss Julien Wanders will race over 5000m. Elsewhere Wictor Petersson takes on Marcus Thomsen in the men’s shot put and Fanny Roos is confirmed for the women’s shot put. Donavan Brazier is a late withdrawal.
