The 2019 WC Doha gold medalist and world record holder has had a tough time training during the Covid 19 pandemic.
NAIROBI (KEN): World steeplechase champion Beatrice Chepkoech has not trained since March, claims Standard Media. “At the moment, I have gained weight and I cannot even chase a hen. I need intense training to shed some weight,” she is quoted as saying. She hopes to compete at Diamond League meetings this year, though, if the issue of visas due to the pandemic can be sorted.
