KAMPALA (UGA): The coach of world 10,000m champion Joshua Cheptegei says his athletes are training much less due to the lack of competition. Addy Ruiter’s group at Kapchorwa are doing eight rather than twelve sessions per week and not undertaking intensive training. Cheptegei added: “This period is quite difficult, I don’t know when I will run a race again. But the fact that Addie stayed with me is really a motivation to keep going.” From volkskrant.nl.
