Lasitskene Women AOY

MOUNTAIN VIEW (USA): High jumper Mariya Lasitskene was voted WomenÂ´s Indoor Athlete of the Year by Track and Field News just edging Laura Muir. Honorable Mention: Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Anzhelika Sidorova. Mariya Lasitskene has become the latest in a long string of repeat winners as Women’s Indoor AOY. Meseret Defar and Yelena Isinbaeva each led 3 times, and previous pairs belong to Genzebe Dibaba, Svetlana Feofanova & Stacy Dragila. Vaulters have been the most successful in the AOY department this century, capturing 8 of 20 titles:
