COPENHAGEN (DEN): Galen Rupp has pulled out of the Copenhagen Half Marathon on Sunday due to Achilles soreness according to his agent Ricky Simms. Jordan Hasay has also decided not to race, preferring to stay at home in order to prepare for the Chicago Marathon. “Galen has some soreness in his Achilles in Tilburg and decided it was better to return home to the US and continue training rather than stay in Europe. Jordan was going to join him in Europe but will just run a hard effort at home instead,” he said. Rupp is also aiming for the Chicago Marathon next month where he lines up as the reigning champion.
