MADRID (ESP): Spain has named a team of 95 athletes for the European Championships in Berlin including reigning European 200m champion Bruno Hortelano who has also been named in the 4x400m pool. Olympic 110m hurdles silver medallist Orlando Ortega is another leading name along with European indoor 3000m champion Adel Mechaal who will contest the 5000m and 10,000m in Berlin. Spanish 800m record-holder Saul Ordonez is another medal contender while 17-year-old double European U18 champion Maria Vicente makes her senior debut in the triple jump.
