INDIANAPOLIS (USA): News from USATF website. Longtime USATF official and technical expert David Katz has been selected as Course Measurer for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 at the recent IAAF Council Meeting in Birmingham. This is his Katz’s third appointment in this role, having previously served in 2012 and 2016. Long-time coach, contributor and technical expert Ed Gorman has joined USATF’s National Office as Associate Director of Championships and Programs. His responsibilities include overseeing the technical aspects of bid documents and serving as Technical Manager at USATF National Track & field Championships.
