Reese and Carter plan for World Indoors
INDIANAPOLIS (USA): Two US gold medalists in technical events from last World Indoor Championships in Portland are planning to defend their titles in Birmingham next March. Long jumper Brittney Reese (31) aims for fourth indoor gold (after 2010, 2012, 2016) to match her outdoor tally of four wins at World Championships (2009, 2011, 2013, 2017). Confirms her agent Mark Pryor. Also aiming for winning in England is shot put Olympic champion Michelle Carter (32). For her it will be fifth World Indoors, she started in 2010 with qualification participation, was third 2012 and fourth in 2014 before winning two years ago. Informs her agent Karen Locke.
