BELGRADE (SRB): Serbian Athletics Federation recieved confirmation that Ivana Spanovic ended as fourth in the long jump at World Championships in London. They claimed she should be higher in the rankings because her last jump was longer than 691 cm. That was enough for fourth place. But she landed way over 7 meters, but her bib on the back made the difference. Serbian federation appealed, but admitted now the decision was right. Informs b92.net.
