A special treat for track and field geeks are athlete posters. TFN News does them every issue, and I published a series in American Athletics and American Track & Field over the past sixteen years. American Track & Field did a nice one with Brian Sell, courtesy of Brooks this past Winter, and now, ASICS has joined Shooting Star Media, Inc. to put out a great poster, with Deena Kastor on one side and Ryan Hall on the other!
ASICS sponsors posters of Deena Kastor/Ryan Hall
ASICS America has sponsored a poster of Deena Kastor and Ryan Hall, that will be inserted into American Track & Field, Athletes Only (late Spring & Summer), Fast Forward (Spring), Cal Track (May), Mo Runner (May), Coaching Athletics (May)
and Latinos Corriendo (April/May). 450,000 posters will be distributed courtesy of ASICS America. Ryan Hall, the winner of the U.S. Olympic Trials mens’ marathon this
past November, will be running April 14 at FLORA London. Deena Kastor, the 2004 Olympic bronze medalist in the marathon and American record holder at the distance, will be running the U.S. Olympic Trials for women, April 20, 2008 in Boston, MA.
