ADDIS ABABA (ETH): Haile Gebrselassie has outlined two of his main aims at president of the Ethiopian Athletics Federation, informs insidethegames.biz. One of his foremost aims is to solve Ethiopia’s growing doping problem by actively working with anti-doping agencies. “Instead of challenging WADA and other anti-doping agencies, we have to be able to admit that we have a problem and then work hard to address it. I believe that Ethiopia’s doping problem is not deep. But certainly there are signs.” he said. Gebrselassie also wants to establish regional athletics centres in order to promote athletics across the country.
