NEW BRUNSWICK (USA): Sydney McLaughlin has no plans to turn professional despite making the US Olympic team in the 400m hurdles this summer at the age of 16, informs Track and Field News. “I am looking at colleges right now. That’s going to happen regardless of when I choose to take on a career in professional track. But I think right now I’m going to go to college and see what that’s like and get that experience and be normal for some time. Not only just get an education but run on a college team and see what it’s like to travel and get all that experience first,” she said.
