1. Congrats to Joey Berriatua, who has joined #ASPIREOTQ. Joey was formerly with #TinManElite and, before that, #SantaClaraUniversity, my alma mater. Joey has run 8:25.98 for the steeple! I want to interview Joey for #SocialingtheDistance.

2. Special Edition on Mike Fanelli, who passed away at the end of November 2023. Mike was the cultural historian for the sport, former Reebok exec, Mail order running shoe genius, and Real estate star. and gave me the idea (with Pat Devaney) of starting a coaching magazine (American Athletics) after working with them on a Coaching project for #Reebok while I was at

#RunnersWorld.

3. There is a Memorial for Mike Fanelli this weekend. Due to sore back and bad weather, I had to change my plans to travel to the left coast for the event.
