Renaud Lavillenie, 2013 Euro Indoors,
The European Indoor Champs were a huge success the weekend of March 1-3, 2013 in Goteborg, Sweden. The crowds, from 1000 for the shot qualifying in the Marketplace, to five thousand in the stadium during the Saturday and Sunday sessions, was involved, excitable and loud!
As an American going to the European Indoors, it was fun seeing how a country like Sweden can get so excited about their performances, and then, how a country like France can get nine medals in a period of a few hours!
The final note, the Russian team will be very, very tough in Moscow for the World Outdoors!
