Not sure what WADA was trying to accomplish, however, CAS, the Court of Arbitration for Sport has ruled in favor of the WADA complaint that BOA was not in compliance with WADA, with its rule that drug cheats could not compete on British Olympic teams. With the ruling, Dwain Chambers could make the London 2012 team.

LONDON
(GBR): Former banned athletes, including sprinter Dwain Chambers, will be
eligible to compete for Britain at London 2012 after the Court of Arbitration
for Sport (CAS) overturned the British Olympic Association’s lifetime ban on
offenders. The British Olympic Association’s (BOA) controversial doping bylaw
is illegal and must be scrapped, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
officially announced. „The CAS Panel has ruled that the BOA bye-law [sic]
related to the selection of British athletes for the Olympic Games was not in
compliance with the World Anti-doping Code,” a statement on the CAS
website said. The case against the BOA had been brought by the World
Anti-Doping Agency, who claimed that the bylaw was against the World
Anti-Doping Code. Informs insidethegames.
