Andrew Carlson is showing his fitness, winning the US Champs in 1:14:42 for the 25 km distance! Brett Gotcher, who ran a pb of 28:09 last weekend on the track, ran 1:15:06 here
for second. Nick Arciniaga took third in 1:15:18, and Jason Hartman, who also ran the 10,000m at Payton Jordan last weekend, cranked a 1:15:30 for fourth. In fifth, at 1:15;54, was Josh Eberly.

Three weekends in a row of racing! Showing her level of fitness, Katie McGregor, who ran the NYRR Distance Carnival 3,000m, the Payton Jordan 10,000m last weekend, taking third, has won the US 25k title here, in 1:26;24. The third weekend is apparently the charm!
In second,Samia Akbar ran 1:29:03. In third place, Dot McMahon of Brooks/Hansons, ran 1:30:08. Running fourth in the US champs was Kelly Jaske, in 1:30:47, and in fifth place, Jessica Graf, running 1:34:12.
