DUSSELDORF (GER): World record-holder Armand Duplantis will open his season at the ISTAF Indoor in Dusseldorf on 31 January (ISS Dome Hall), informs organisers. Duplantis will face two-time world champion Sam Kendricks, world bronze medallist Piotr Lisek from Poland along with top Germans Bo Kanda Lita Baehre and Raphael Holzdeppe. On the track, Switzerland’s Ajla Del Ponte faces leading Germans Lisa Kwayie, Tatjana Pinto, Rebekka Haase and Jennifer Montag in the women’s 60m while German champion Deniz Almas faces Ivory Coast’s Arthur Gue Cisse in the men’s 60m. Pascal Martinot-Lagarde competes in the men’s 60m hurdles while Nadine Visser faces Belarus’ Alina Talay in the women’s 60m hurdles.
