I will not be able to see my friend this year, but I look forward to seeing him in his next marathon! Shadrock followed last year’s win at RNR San Jose with a fifth place at the 2016 NYC Marathon. In the spring of 2017, Shadrack Biwott finished fourth in the Boston Marathon! What will he do this year?

SAN JOSE (USA): This weekend, the center of Silicon Valley plays host to one of the most exciting road races in the Golden State: the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon. Defending champion, Shadrack Biwott, headlines the men’s field in the race which is known for its flat and fast course. For the women the top favorite is 35-year-old Sasha Gollish who was last year’s Canadian Cross Country Champion.
