TORONTO (CAN): Cam Levins has announced he will run the half marathon at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 22 October, informs organisers. Levins is hoping to secure qualification for the World Half Marathon Championships in Valencia, Spain next March. “My plan is to go out with the marathon pace group at 63 minutes. What I would like to do is try and qualify for the 2018 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships. So whatever it takes to do that at the very least and if I am feeling good (I will) knock it out of the park. That’s sort of my main goal going into this,” he said. Levins is also aiming to compete at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham over 3000m.
